CLICK ("we," "our," or "us") operates the CLICK dating application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. By using CLICK, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Account data: name, username, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash)
• Profile data: photos, bio, location (city/state), interests, job, education, and other optional fields
• Content: messages, voice notes, photos, and GIFs sent within conversations
• Preferences: matching preferences including gender, age range, intent, and distance

Information collected automatically:

• GPS coordinates (only when you explicitly enable location in Settings)
• Device activity timestamps (last seen at, for matching purposes)
• Push notification subscription tokens

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the CLICK matching service
• To show your profile to compatible users based on mutual preferences
• To send push notifications for matches and messages
• To verify identity and prevent fraud
• To enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines

4. Message Privacy

Messages between users are private and are only accessible to the two parties in the conversation. Photos and voice notes sent within a conversation are stored separately from profile photos and will never appear on your public profile. We do not sell, share, or disclose message content to third parties except as required by law.

5. Photo Privacy

Profile photos are visible to other CLICK users who match your preferences. Photos sent in messages are stored securely and are only accessible within that conversation. Message attachments are stored in isolated storage and are not indexed in your profile gallery.

6. Location Data

Location sharing is entirely optional. When enabled, your GPS coordinates are used to show you matches nearby and display approximate distance to other users. We store coordinates as latitude/longitude; we do not share your exact location with other users — only approximate distance is displayed.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Service providers: Cloudflare (hosting/CDN), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS)
• Law enforcement: when required by valid legal process

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which will permanently remove your profile, photos, messages, and matches within 30 days.

9. Your Rights

• Access and download your data
• Correct inaccurate information through your profile settings
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential communications

10. Security

We use industry-standard security including bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, and access controls on our database. However, no system is 100% secure. If you discover a security issue, contact us immediately.

11. Children

CLICK is strictly for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that a user is under 18, the account will be immediately terminated.
